Welcome to Pamps!

Our purpose
Pamps! Magazine is an exchange student in Pamplona’s best friend. Here at Pamps, we want to help Erasmus students of the city find their home away from home right here in Pamplona, letting you know about all about its food, places and its people. Born from the minds of actual exchange students themselves, it is a joint effort out of love for the city and the urge to help others explore what they can. We are simply excited to see what you’ll discover right here in the streets of Pamplona.
As a small city located in the north of Spain, Pamplona has the charm of a small city, yet the excitement of the university town it is. Sprawling with culture and wonderful people, it makes sense that hundreds of students choose this wonderful city to spend their time in exchange. In this magazine, not only will you get to find out more about the city, but about all the other tips and tricks to get around, and of course, help you anticipate what exactly you will learn in this very city.
Sometimes a semester can feel like forever
Yet, the life of a student abroad is not all pinchos and flamenco dancing. Stepping into an unknown place in an unfamiliar city can be jarring, and just plain confusing. In the end, sometimes the university's support isn’t really enough. Because of this, our team felt the need to step up and do something about it, claiming how amazing it would be if someone were out there guiding them through it, instead of dwelling in the anxiety of absolutely having no clue, and missing out on what they should be doing instead.
We want to help you make the most of your life in Pamplona
Learning independently and figuring this out for yourself is part of the process. At the heart of it all, the goal isn’t to stop the discovery, but to live through it in the best way possible. Aiming to help exchange students feel like someone has their back – so they can go out and have the most meaningful and life-changing time they so deserve. This is a time in people’s lives that is coined as one of the most unforgettable, and we want to make sure that, truly, it will be.
