Experience of every group member
Sara Giuliani - Multimedia Coordinator
Being part of this project has been an exciting experience, not only because of the work we produced, but also because of the people I had the chance to learn from. One of the aspects I appreciated the most was the opportunity to collaborate with classmates from different nationalities and backgrounds. It pushed me to expand the way I communicate, to rethink my creative process, and to discover again how much diversity enriches teamwork.
Through videos, photos and layouts, I tried to translate the emotions and everyday moments of Pamplona into visual content that could speak to exchange students and help them feel a little more at home. I valued a lot the guidance from Professor Sánchez.
His feedback was always clear, practical and encouraging, and it helped us refine our ideas while keeping the essence of what we wanted to express. His suggestions taught me how to look at communication with more intention and more structure.Working with the team was equally inspiring. From Sam, I appreciated his positive spirit and constant motivation, which kept the group always energised.
From Stiven, I admired his precision and thoughtful approach, he always made sure that every detail aligned with our goals. Zoe brought an incredible amount of energy and creativity, and her ability to turn ideas into stories taught me a lot. From Agustina, I valued her calm, reliable presence and her eye for balance, which often helped the group stay focused and grounded.
And from Leonardo, I appreciated his kindness and willingness to help, always ready to support others with his experience, patience and sincerity.
In the end, I think that what we produced is more than a magazine: it is a small piece of the Pamplona experience that we tried to capture with care, intention and heart. And personally, this project will always remind me of my time as an exchange student from Italy. It’s a memory I will carry with me long after this semester ends.
Zoe Ramos - Writer in Charge
Being a part of this project has really helped me explore so much about Pamplona and the people residing here– not just the exchange student but locals as well. The act of trying to reach our audience has made me ask questions that I think are valid in all walks of life, helping me see that content creation and media is so much more than just social media and images, but about understanding humanity and their nature, and the beauty of connection.
We are collecting stories, and point of views in the hopes of reaching those who need it, and find comfort in relating to them. I personally learned a lot when I read the articles, and wrote some content myself, and just thinking about what could possibly move our audience. In the end, learning about how to do this efficiently, with the right tools and the right strategies has been a main point for me during this project, and I think we genuinely made something from the heart.
Leonardo Caputi - Head designer
When I think about PAMPS, it’s impossible to separate the project from the people behind it. Even now, when I look back at the first weeks, I can feel how everything slowly started to connect: the classes with Professor Daniel Franco Sánchez, the way he pushed us to think visually, socially, strategically… and then the way all those ideas landed inside our team, shaping the magazine little by little. PAMPS didn’t grow linearly, nothing in this course did. It grew through moments, through experiments, through conversations that suddenly made you see things differently.
Sara was the mind and the coordinator of the project, especially on social media, an unstoppable cascade of ideas, always two steps ahead, always finding connections the rest of us didn’t see yet. Sam became my main partner on the website: he handled the technical backbone while I worked on the creative side, and together we built a space that felt clean, intuitive and genuinely ours. Stiven brought the human part; while we were lost in layouts, visuals and structure, he kept asking how people would actually react, how to make students feel part of it, reminding us that a magazine only matters if someone feels connected to it. Zoe shaped the voice of PAMPS with her way of writing as if she were talking to you over a coffee, warm, direct, engaging. She brought a sensitivity to the texts that made everything more readable, vibrant and coherent, becoming one of the real pillars of the project. And then there was Agustina, with her energy, empathy and her ability to observe the rhythms of Pamplona from the inside; being from here, she helped us understand the local community in a way none of us could, suggesting interactions and content that blended cultures and moods effortlessly.
Looking back, PAMPS grew through all of them, through this mix of perspectives, through the way each one translated the course into something tangible.
Sam Eilering - Webmaster
Looking back at this project, one of the most valuable lessons came from simply working alongside people from different countries and backgrounds. It taught me to adapt, to listen differently, and to appreciate how diversity naturally leads to richer solutions. As webmaster, I was primarily responsible for the technical side of the website, the structure, the functionality, the backend that kept everything running smoothly. While Leo focused on the creative and visual aspects, I made sure the foundation was solid and that our platform could actually support the vision we were building together.
What stood out to me most throughout this experience was how essential communication became. Everyone needed to know what the others were working on, not just occasionally, but constantly. And I genuinely feel our team excelled at this. We kept each other informed, we stayed aligned, checked each other's work and because of that, everyone was able to work within their strengths. There was a natural flow to how we collaborated; no one felt lost or disconnected from the bigger picture. Beyond that, everyone was always willing to help each other out, whether it was a technical issue, a creative block, or just needing a second opinion. That constant support really strengthened our team spirit and made the whole process more enjoyable.
Some of the most rewarding moments came from our brainstorming sessions, where we'd discuss, challenge, and refine ideas until something truly creative emerged. And then, seeing real engagement from our followers, people actually responding, interacting, connecting with what we built made it all feel incredibly worthwhile. Working on PAMPS also helped me get to know Pamplona better, discovering corners of the city and aspects of student life here that I might have otherwise missed.
In the end, I truly believe we created something valuable. PAMPS isn't just a project we completed for a grade; it's a resource built by exchange students, for exchange students. And for most of us in the group, that shared experience of being far from home was what made this work feel so meaningful and real.
Agustina Rico Culaciati - Community Manager
Reflecting on PAMPs! made me realize how much I learned from this experience and my teammates. This project challenged me, requiring me to address topics I had never considered. As a local, it made me step into exchange students' shoes and explore how I could help them adjust.
Moreover, I have experience writing articles in Spanish, but this project made me work on writing longer ones in English. It challenged me, but I truly believe I’m now faster at explaining my ideas in a language I’m not native to. I had worked on creating social media content, but I’d never had a team to rely on. It had always been just me in the content creation and community management areas, so working with a team in these aspects made me think of different ways to make our magazine grow.
Performing as a community manager gave me the opportunity to work with all of my teammates. Working with Zoe helped me strengthen my grammar and broaden my vocabulary; her patience towards correcting and suggesting is impressive. Sara is a mastermind; her creativity and initiative when broadening our content are definitely inspiring. Leo is calm and decisive, something I appreciated when going through challenges. Stiven is practical and centered, which helped me maintain focus. And lastly, Sam is always open to helping and sharing ideas, making the project flow easily.
Through PAMPs! I learnt many things about myself and my relationship with others. It encouraged me to work with people from different places and with diverse experiences, which broadened my mind and approach to group projects similar to this one in the future.
Stiven Koci - Community Manager
During my experience as a community manager for PAMPs!, I had the opportunity to contribute to a project that really taught me a lot. Working within such a collaborative and motivated team was a real privilege, as our cooperation made each phase of the project more enjoyable and productive. Writing an article about local events and traditions for the website enabled me to immerse myself even deeper into the unique atmosphere of the city, discovering facets of Pamplona that I might otherwise have overlooked. Most importantly, collaborating with the other team members allowed me to learn new skills and perspectives, enriching both my professional development and my appreciation for teamwork.
